Support with binds
So i've made this post because people still asking me what they have to do if they can not use knife with a bind and ect.
I hope that will help you :
Enter into console (press ~ to open console)
/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle secondary sidearm [KEY] <- here you enter number from your keyboard i mean 1,2,3...9
/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle grenade [KEY] <- here you enter number from your keyboard i mean 1,2,3...9
/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle knife [KEY] <- here you enter number from your keyboard i mean 1,2,3...9
Now for the example if u wrote /bind 1 ut_weaptoggle knife into consola u will get knife by pressing "1"
or if you meant to switch nade and knife then
/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle grenade knife
or you can enter these into your config file just enter them without the "/"
If you have problem with another binds pleas click
here
Sorry but i've promised to write the same in polish because not all of us understand english
/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle grenade knife
lub możesz wpisać je do twojego pliku config nie wpisując przed tym "/"
jeżeli masz problem z innymi bindami kliknij
tutaj
MIV just dont comment:)

Re: Support with binds
Well i have mouse with only 3 key's : P but i found it on another forum
1.Grab the optimized build from Mitsubishi and use that to play UrbanTerror. You will be able to bind those button 4 + 5 in UrT without hassle (aslong you leave them assigned in the mouse panel).
2.try to emulate another key with it, if this ísnt possible with ur programm try X-mouse button control, what im using.
there you simply type wich key or action should be emulated and ure done
I have one button f13 and one f14 since i dont have f13 and 14
I hope that will help and if not tell me which mouse you have? i mean model etc.

Re: Support with binds
Thanks! I've always been wondering what this was made for, but there's still one thing I don't understand...
Let's say I'm currently carying, hm, lr300. I f I press [KEY] I'll be carying a nade. And then, if I press [KEY] again, it'll switch to knife, right? And each time i'll press [KEY] it'll be switching between knife and nade, isn't it?/bind [KEY] ut_weaptoggle grenade knife

Re: Support with binds
That was ironic?
Yes u can bind for example knife and pistol on "6" and then u'll get knife->pistol->knife->pistol all the time

Re: Support with binds
Mouse4 and Mouse5 aren't detected by UrT, on some mouses such as Razer Diamondback LE (yes that's mine)Penetralia13 wrote:i have a problem with mouse4 key wont work got any ideas?
Also for some reasons unknown to me, any UrT build that includes the bumpy build by TwentySeven fails at starting or has extreme fps drops (less than 1 fps probably)
I'm also using Mouse4 and Mouse5 in other games and they work correctly, so I don't want to use a key emulator just for UrT
Any other solutions except those two?
Re: Support with binds
well Vukimi seems like urT have problem with all razer mouses here is problem with razer mouse but DeathAdder not Diamondback maybe try to do as they say ? Maybe it may help
link
Edited:
Okey i've searched a little bit and i also asked my bro he had the same mouse.
bind MOUSE1 "xxxx"
bind MOUSE2 "xxxx"
bind MOUSE3 "xxx"
bind MOUSE4 "xxx"
bind MOUSE5 "xxxx"
bind MWHEELDOWN "xxxx"
bind MWHEELUP "xxxx"
i.e I bind mouse 4 to knife and works well.
bind MOUSE4 "ut_weaptoggle knife"
2.If you're having issues with your mouse, check to see what your /in_mouse is at. in_mouse is set to -1 by default, to change this via console, type:
/in_mouse (to see what the current value is)
then to change it:
/in_mouse "1" or "-1"
then for the setting to take effect:
/in_restart
Also, if your mouse 4/5/6/7/8 buttons aren't working, try binding them to keyboard strokes. Lots of mouse drivers let you do this (Logitech for example), otherwise there's other programs available that let you do this.[i]

Re: Support with binds
am i blind or you changed 'not radio bind' to 'not radio binds' ?
..radio binds are not useful (especialy "/bind [KEY] say bla, bla, bla " )
only planting to B, A and i need a medic are useful
