B3 Suggestions

Hey,

I propose this topic for to gather all the suggestions which you have for b3 (*evil*.*bot*).

I suggest we can disable Censor plugin (Topic), disable the teamkill plugin (useless).

And enable :

• Knifer plugin
  
• Add the Voting plugin (to change sometime the weapons if everybody his ok, have fun)
  
• Add the old Locate plugin (with command !locate, !friends, !distance...), do you remeber ?
  

And a beautiful Xlrstats Webfront !!


And for Mods : have accces to the !lookup command, because if someone who was cheating leave the server, we can't ban...

Well i see a lot of good things but some others are already answers by the rule of our family
So let's start :
-about censor i will disable it till we made a better list of 'profanity'
-about TK, just forgot to edit b3.xml, will do asap
-about Knifer, idk why but he make b3 bug at start, so i had to disable it, will look at it asap too
-about voting plugins, i will maybe made change at voting rules but for sure will never add vote for gear, since it's pist and nade server.
-about Locate, i already think about it, just need time for add external plugin, for now i focus on those wich are already installed, some fail and some need adjustement
-about xlrstats Webfront, well answer is just up ^^
-And finally about mods, in our family mods are 'friends', and their jobs are to spot hacker, demo them and eventually tempban them (will add some rules specially for them for 3d tb). Ban are only *EviL* purpose
mods already got !id commands, as long as we got the b3 number, we can ban (tempban) them

For the Knifer Plugin, watch your b3.log just before restarting b3 to fix the problem (if you don't understand anything, pm me the beggining of your b3.log)
Know that the Voting plugin changes the weapons just temporarily (5min, 10min choose). In any case, thank you for interesting you to it.
For the Locate Plugin & Xlrstats Webfront, I hope that you will find the time to install them!
For mods I did not know, nobody had explained.

Hehe well that how we work since start of family, i think it's maybe not writed somewhere but well, there is a lot of Mods still around and i think they will agreed

Anyway i disabled Censor for now, and TK too, will look at xml for see what i can do by myself (me lil noob )

I don't know what happened with the knifer plugin, it was fine when I installed it... We need the HE plugin now (especially for Disky :p).

@Fragmeister : how do you know about "this" locate plugin, the one having commands such as !friends and !distance ? Do you remember it from the last time Evil server was up ?

Yup my bad, messed up somewhere, but now knife work nice
I added potion plugin (and need to see some change on it ^^ )
And added weaponcontrol too, for my dear fonducci <3

I do not understand the Potion plugin working. You send a potion to someone, he drink the potion and get muted and it's all ?

!potion = !bigtext "bla give potion to bla" + !slap + !nuke + !mute

This plugin is really devilish.
And it's the only command of this plugin ?

Well it was Witch first (and only) plugin she made
So yeap it's basic one, but still lolly one ^^
(Saw zombieBob play with it on UZF serv xD )

Yes maybe, but from what you say, it seems that it's always because of disky that b3 doesnt work anymore (change the password FTP and you will never have problem anymore).
I know b3, and sometime I do very little changes and he refused starting...
Yes for the Locate plugin he is not listed on the B3 website but I had already found it on an German Forum if my memory is good...

There was already several plugins for locating people so I never made any thread on B3 forum...

Install this aswell It detects hacks and pm to all admins connected!and u can even set to auto kick and maybe auto ban aswell

Hmm this plugin gave false warning 99.99% of the time because of false GUID identification (some clients give an IP address instead of a "real" GUID), I'm not sure Courgette fixed that.

Well tbh i'm only interested by 'Rocket launcher' and 'unlimited stamina', but could be nice to have something like that for make fun game from time to time

And 1 more thing about our b3... plz add some cmd to full admins, like !nuke, !map etc... I really miss them! (well, not that i care about map we play, but nukin'... )

About !map, it's for 80, 60 like you can !setnextmap and !cyclemap (same result :p ).
But remind that it's always better to do vote before

Yes a moded server could be a good idea !
But it's hard to find ! You must request the qvm files of a moded server !

And I hate how the commands are distributed in evil.
The moderator are like flunkeys that have the sole purpose of seeking cheaters. That was just my Opinion

Want more rights ? just diserve it
We obviously can't give all rights to evry newcomers, that's why we put 2 different mods level

PS: mod are here for spot hacker, like evryone on server, but they are here to maintain fair and fun on serv too, that's why they got only the commands needed for that

They got warns etc., so they can keep the server clean...
Those few outsiders we really know well and who are 'friends of family' have higher rights... IMO that's fair...
+ if we gave mods more possibilities, we would have much less of them, as we wouldn't give rights to anyone we dt trust a lot...
Let's keep it the way it has already been, and if u want more rights - work hard and make us:
a) need you
b) love you (not in the most common meaning, tho... well, maybe for disky in the most common, but that's a different case... )
