If you have problems with install a Irc here is easy program for use IRC servers

downlaod it here:

click at "server 1" at right side

i installed it but i don't know how to use it. in the giude there is that a dialoge box will appear to enter nickname and so on but for me it doesn't appeared Sad
i don't know what should i do

I think there is maybe a button for "Connect", try to click on it to open that window...
Anyway sorry Gandott i never use xchat so ... :S

Just set your nickname, select Quakenet on the list and click on the Connect button. If you didn't achieve to connect, you can use the web IRC client to ask for help, or type "xchat tutorial" in Google video.

it messages x Chat Free is not aviliable WinNTx

what shall i have to do?

i went to install this and my trend micro security blocked it it says may have virus and trojans all just becareful run some virus protectors and see if you got any

Agree with rei, note that xchat is not free.
You can use it free for 30 days than u must pay, and there is no patch for use it free, at least not for now.

X-Chat is free software, the only thing is that the development team compiles a limited version. Like I wrote, you can get unlimited version on http://silverex.org/download/ for example.
